Stock 100+ micron in tank filters are designed to prevent large contaminants from clogging the pump without limiting fuel flow. While the in-tank sock is ~100 microns, Polaris fuel injectors often use much finer 20-micron screens on the inlet side, which can clog easily. The APP Aux fuel line filter kit has a 30 micron filter to prevent injector plugging and extending the life of your fuel system. Every sled should have a APP filter kit installed.
