With the Boost model, Polaris brought a lot of new innovation to the snowmobile industry. Specifically the way they control the turbo to maximize the horsepower by utilizing the bypass valve in the pipe was quite clever indeed. SLP took this dynamic new design a step further by optimizing the flow characteristics of our silencer to deliver 2 horsepower more on peak with greater throttle response through the midrange. This silencer is our “Quiet” version utilizing a silenced bypass tube also offered in a “Competition Series” design for maximum weight savings. Horsepower, weight savings and running consistency like you have come to expect from SLP.
