The EVP Boost Recirculation Valve (BRV) was designed to improve boost response and prevent turbocharger compressor stalling on the Maverick X3 turbo. EVP BRV was made specifically for customers that do not want to hear the “PSSSHH” sound of a BOV or customers that ride in the mud holes, creeks where a traditional BOV can ingest water. EVP BRV utilizes a completely sealed closed loop system and the diverted pressure is ducted back to the inlet of the turbocharger through their included silicone hose and adapter fittings. For a BRV to work consistently and not leak, tolerances must be held to an extremely high standard. The EVP BRV body, cap and piston are precision CNC machined from billet aluminum with tolerances that approach within .0003″. The sliding components are hard anodized and coated so the BRV will last the lifetime of the engine. For each vehicle/engine type we make BRV kits for, the spring rates are properly matched for optimum performance.
